Larus fuscus fuscus adult U7BJ October 30 2009 & March 26 2013, Ashdod, Israel. Pictures Amir Ben Dov.

U7BJ was found injured and taken into care. Early October 2009, it was ringed by Yoav Perlman (rings supplied by Risto Juvaste from Finland) and released by Amir Ben Dov.

Now, three weeks later it still looks strong and healthy.

A dark grey adult, photographed in rainy weather. Slender bird with pointed long wings when resting.
Primary moult stage not described in the field, but P6-P10 still old. At first glance, the wing coverts panel seem to be complete, lacking obvious moult gaps, so the complete moult may still have to start in this individual (maybe moult was postponed by malnutrition).

Small mirror on P10.
