Larus fuscus fuscus 3cy/4cy CU19 June 2007 & July 2008, Tara dump (Tampere) SW Finland. Pictures: Hannu Koskinen.

CU19 was seen as 3cy bird on June 10 2007 at Tara on this date only. It was ringed as a pullus on 3.7.2005 at Hauho by Jouko Astor.

Typical 3cy nominate fuscus with a division on P7-P8 and a clear mirror on P10. Outer primaries look rather fresh.

Below: CU19 one year older as 4cy, again at Tara dump on July 06 2008. The barnacles on the darvic ring have mostly disappeared, only some basic parts of them are still visible. Bird very adult-like.
