Larus fuscus fuscus 2cy, March 18 2011, Ramat Gan Safari. Picture Amir Ben Dov.
Nominate fuscus by March. Typically for birds from the northern tundra belt: late start of the moult in wing-coverts. In this individual there are moult gaps in the central wing-covert panel, and there are very fresh recently replaced central median coverts and inner three greater coverts.
Bird ringed when it was brought into a hospital.
